Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a PCU Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, MD. This 13-week assignment features nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) with a patient ratio of 6 on nights and 6 on weekends. Start date is 11/02/2026, and Cerner is the charting system.

Expect 1 year of RN experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and MD or Compact licensure. Charge nurse experience is preferred; housing and other benefits are offered where eligible.

  • Skills: Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
