Nicklas Laboratory Staffing seeks an experienced Pathologists’ Assistant or Grossing Histotechnologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Northwestern Arizona. The role emphasizes hands-on grossing, specimen dissection, and collaboration with Pathologists in a CAP-accredited laboratory.

The position offers a Monday–Friday day schedule with no call, potential extensions for longer-term placement, and travel stipends. Benefits are included, with immediate eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pathologists’ Assistant program or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on grossing experience with diverse surgical specimens.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume grossing workload.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens.
• Independently gross a diverse range of specimens including breast, colon, and oncologic resections.
• Assist with frozen sections as required.
• Maintain accurate specimen orientation, labeling, and documentation.
