Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel RN in Great Falls, MT for PreOp / PACU post-anesthesia care. 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour days. We seek 1–2 years of acute care experience with PACU duties and required ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lift and move patients is expected.

Travel RN assignments include comprehensive benefits and weekly pay; TotalMed RN supports travel nurses with stipends and staffing needs across the country.

Qualifications

• RN with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required or obtained before start; additional certifications may be required.
• Travel RN with ability to handle pediatric to adult patients in PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Monitor patients for condition changes and report to physician.
• Assist with mobility and discharge readiness to a room.
