Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fargo, ND. The position offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, with a focus on patient recovery and safe post-operative care.

The RN will assess patients emerging from anesthesia, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth handoffs and discharge planning. Applicants should have 1 year PACU experience, ND RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification current.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia recovery and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU standards.
• Document patient condition and care in medical records.
• Coordinate care with surgical team and discharge planning.
• Operate PACU equipment and respond to emergencies per protocol.
