Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for the PACU in Minneapolis, MN for a 13-week assignment. You will assess post-anesthesia patients, deliver recovery care, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge.

Requirements include 1 year PACU RN experience, active MN RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred: PALS or ENPC. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience required.
• Active RN license valid in MN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Preferred: PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments per PACU standards.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family education for recovery and discharge.
