Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13‑week assignment in Casper, Wyoming. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

The PACU RN will assess recovery, implement post‑operative plans, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions. The position requires one year of PACU experience, an active RN license, and active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN required.
• Valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in the PACU.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness level, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post‑anesthesia nursing standards.
• Document assessments, treatments, and recovery progress in medical records.
• Coordinate with the surgical team and other providers for discharge planning.
