Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery and monitor recovery progress
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU nursing standards
• Document patient assessments and interventions in medical records
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient post-operative care
• Deliver patient and family education including discharge instructions and recovery guidelines
