TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Farmington, New Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of acute care experience and be able to work 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts over a 13-week assignment.

This PACU role requires observing and caring for postoperative patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and coordinating with the surgical team to ensure safe recovery and transition.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor patient progress.
