Job summary

Cross Country Nurses in Windsor, Vermont is seeking a travel RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. The role focuses on admission, discharge and post-operative care for adult and geriatric patients in a rural outpatient surgical center.

The ideal candidate has PACU and Same Day Surgery experience, Cerner EMR proficiency, BLS/ACLS, and a valid RN license. Travel experience and owning a vehicle are preferred for this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Same Day Surgery.
• Experience in a rural outpatient facility with admitting/discharge.
• Phase I and II/PACU experience with IV starts.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery with pre-op assessments.
• Step into the operating room to assist as needed.
• Manage admission, discharge and post-anesthesia care for adults.
