Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Rutland, Vermont. The PACU RN will monitor post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe, timely transitions to recovery areas.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week on 10-hour rotating shifts, with benefits and travel support

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing with 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for postoperative patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate with physicians.
• Develop care plans and adjust as patient condition changes.
• Move patients to rooms as they recover and are ready.
