Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The position is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour day shift.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Responsibilities include monitoring postoperative patients and coordinating with the surgical team for safe recovery.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Monitor vitals and assess recovery progress.
• Coordinate with surgical team and nurses for smooth handoffs.
• Assist with moving patients to appropriate recovery areas as eligible.
