Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PACU Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Georgetown, Texas. This travel role offers 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Immediate openings and ACLS/BLS required, with 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

As a PACU nurse, you will monitor post-anesthesia patients, develop care plans, and determine when patients are recovered and ready for the next step, across pediatrics to adults in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patient status for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
