Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for an assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. This PACU travel role requires nights, 12-hour shifts, and a 14-week duration with travel pay considerations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. You will care for post-op patients, monitor recovery, and communicate with the surgical and medical team as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and oversee recovery progress.
• Develop individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Report patient status changes to the physician and care team.
• Assess when patients are recovered and ready to transfer to a room.
