Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, KY. The PACU RN provides specialized post-anesthesia care, monitors patients through recovery, and collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge and continuity of care.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of PACU experience, active RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS. Preferred certifications include PALS or ENPC; travel benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and monitor vitals.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-operative treatments.
• Document assessments and care in the medical records.
• Collaborate with the surgical team for discharge planning.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout recovery.
