Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour rotating shifts, and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The ideal candidate has ACLS, BLS, PALS and 1–2 years of acute care experience, with duties including monitoring post-op patients and communicating changes to physicians. Benefits are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Perform nursing actions for PACU patients and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Develop and adjust care plans based on patient condition and physician directions.
