Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for an 18-week assignment in Albuquerque, NM. This role requires at least one year of PACU experience and an active RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications.

You will provide post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, administer medications, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe transitions from OR to PACU and beyond. Travel-friendly package offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from operating room and monitor post-anesthesia condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing standards.
• Document patient status and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe discharges and care transitions.
• Operate PACU equipment and participate in handoffs between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units.
