Job summary

TotalMed RN in Lumberton, NC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 17-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

As a PACU RN, you will monitor post-operative patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams. Required ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS and 1 year of acute care experience; travel experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS are required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Observe and report any adverse reactions to physicians.
• Assist with determining when patients are ready to transfer to a room.
