Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lumberton, North Carolina. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, and rotating call schedules.

Start date is 10/05/2026. Eligible candidates have PACU experience, required travel experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/CPI certifications ready before submission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC ACA LS, PALS, and CPI/MOAB required
• All required certifications must be in hand prior to submission
• Experience with all listed case types; critical care experience including ICU-level patients, hemodynamic drips, and ventilated patients
• Comfortable with Pre-Op, recovery, discharge, and boarding patients when inpatient beds are unavailable
• Comfortable floating between Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1, and Phase 2

Responsibilities

• Rotate throughout Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1, and Phase 2
• Care for pediatric and adult patient populations
• Handle case types including GYN, general surgery, robotics, bariatrics, urology, ortho/spine, podiatry, cataracts, ENT, endoscopy, and vascular
