Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX. You will assess patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and administer prescribed treatments in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The role requires at least one year of PACU experience, an active RN license in Texas, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred additional credentials like PALS or ENPC enhance candidacy. This travel position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients transferring from the operating room.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-anesthesia care.
• Document treatments and recovery progress in medical records.
• Develop and deliver discharge instructions and patient education plans.
• Collaborate with surgical team and other providers for complete care.
