Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience is required.
• Active RN license compliant with IL regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive post-anesthesia assessments and monitor recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments per PACU protocols.
• Document patient status and explain discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure continuity of post-operative care.
• Use PACU equipment and monitor ventilators, monitors, and pumps.
