Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role requires a PACU RN with at least one year of recent experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts and a competitive pay package, with comprehensive benefits and dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess patients transferring from the OR and monitor post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing standards.
• Document patient conditions, treatments, and progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure comprehensive post-operative care and safe discharges.
