American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN for a day shift in California. The role requires an active CA RN license and multi-specialty surgical experience, with call responsibilities.

Responsibilities include direct patient care in the Preop/PACU unit across several surgical specialties. The position follows a 4x10 hour day shift (Mon-Thu, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM) with mandatory call and local eligibility within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Preop/PACU unit providing direct patient care.
• Surgical specialties include orthopedic, general surgery, gyn, podiatry, pain, ophthalmology, and endoscopy.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM.
• Call required.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be eligible for local candidate consideration.
• Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Only one holiday request approved per contract.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract.
• Returning staff or travelers must have a one-year separation before returning.
