Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, NM. The PACU RN provides specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, coordinates with the surgical team, and develops discharge plans.

This 13-week assignment offers competitive pay and a supportive clinical team. Start date is 11/09/2026 with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from operating room and post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for discharge planning.
