TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This PACU RN role is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and 8-hour blocks.

Immediate opening requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Travel RNs in PACU provide post-anesthesia observation, care, and rapid assessment to ensure patient safety between surgery and recovery, with the ability to manage patients from

• ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2 Years experience in acute care.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients from pediatrics to adults recovering from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor for changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
