MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. This 13‑week assignment is 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts and travel reimbursement.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months of PACU experience in acute care. MedPro offers weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, housing options, and full benefits through a Joint Commission‑certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local care.
• Monitor patients as they wake up from anesthesia and determine discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
