TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in New Orleans, Louisiana. The PACU RN will observe and care for patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safe transitions and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, developing care plans, coordinating with the surgical team, and managing post-op recovery in a fast-paced setting. Requires BLS/ACLS/PALS and 2 years acute care experience.

Formación

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to physicians.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Palpate, assess, document vitals and recovery progress.
