TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This assignment runs for 6 weeks, requires 40 hours per week, and features 8-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. As a PACU RN, you will observe and care for patients recovering from anesthesia, develop individualized plans, monitor for condition changes, and determine when patients

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
