Job Summary:
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization. The role involves providing care across outpatient services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Laboratory, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic. The nurse will utilize peri-operative assessment skills, recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, and contribute to patient recovery in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of experience in Preoperative, Postoperative, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Phase II Recovery, Endoscopy, or Infusion. Charge nurse experience is preferred.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with peri-operative education, care management, and recognizing post-anesthesia complications.


• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for nursing assessment, peri-operative education, and caring for patients in multiple outpatient units. Floating to various outpatient service areas is part of the duties, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, and PACU.
