Job Summary:
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a bustling perioperative care environment. The role involves supporting patients in the immediate post-operative phase, including pre-operative and post-operative care within a Level 1 trauma facility. The RN will float to different units as needed, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This opportunity offers the chance to work night shifts and collaborate with a dedicated surgical team in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), online education modules, and a minimum of 3 years PACU experience with recent years. Candidates must be able to read tele strips and have ICU experience. Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac, vascular, TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography), CATH (Cardiac Catheterization), EP (Electrophysiology), TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedures, and trauma Level 1 experience. Strong communication skills, team-oriented attitude, and flexibility are highly valued.
• Additional Information: The RN will support the PACU and related perioperative units, including support for cardiovascular and pediatric procedures, groin management, and telemetry monitoring. Night travel support may be available to assist the PACU population and float to main post-anesthesia care units as needed.
