Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Canton, Georgia, in the PACU/OR. Start date 11/16/2026, duration 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, Mon–Fri, typically 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Responsibilities include perioperative care and post-anesthesia recovery.

Requires 2+ years in PACU/OR, BLS, ACLS, and ability to cover two major holidays plus one minor holiday. Travel support and credentialing assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or OR nursing experience.
• Active American Heart Association BLS; ACLS required.
• Ability to work the listed schedule and holiday requirements.
• Strong critical care and patient-family education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and immediate post-anesthesia nursing care in the PACU.
• Assess patient condition on arrival from the OR and adjust care plans with the team.
• Administer medications, manage pain and nausea, respond to emergencies.
• Monitor vitals, oxygenation, drainage, and wound status; ensure patient safety.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia and staff; document care and handoffs.
