Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Pasadena, Maryland. The schedule is 40 hours weekly, with dayshift coverage across a 13-week contract, starting Oct 12, 2026, in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of outpatient experience, has completed at least one prior travel assignment, and can perform gait training, extremity mobilization, and patient education while documenting evaluations and care plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment.
• Current BLS certification.
• CertDN certification preferred.
• Two supervisory references required.
• Licensed to practice if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and document orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
• Perform gait training and extremity mobilization.
• Utilize modalities and home exercise programs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Document evaluations and care plans.
