Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. The role centers on orthopedic cases in a multi-disciplinary medical center with a mix of non-surgical and post-operative patients.

The candidate should have 2+ years of PT experience, at least one prior travel assignment, and a current BLS certification. The 13-week assignment runs 40 hours per week, with a dayshift schedule from 8:00 to 17:30, and standard travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience within the last 7 years required.
• At least 1 previous travel assignment required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with orthopedic conditions including DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, hip and knee injuries, low back pain, osteoarthritis, and post-op spinal, shoulder, and cervical surgery.
• Proficiency with assistive devices and equipment such as crutches, gait belts, walkers, and slings.
• Experience applying modalities including cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, and TENS.
• Skilled in documentation including evaluations, plans of care, short/long term goals, and reassessments.
• Charting system experience required.
