Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska. The role is outpatient PT within an acute care hospital, with a 40-hour work week and day shifts. Start date is 10/26/2026, duration 15 weeks, with no on-call requirements.

Minimum 1 year of experience is required; Alaska license or compact license in hand is needed. BLS certification is required and Epic EMR is used for charting. Scrubs are provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient PT required.
• Alaska PT license in hand or compact license at submission; license required if applicable.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with neuro and ortho conditions including post-op spine, shoulder, and hip/knee replacement preferred.
• Experience treating cognitive disorders, MS, Parkinson's, stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injury preferred.
• Skilled in home exercise program development and patient/family education.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Treat neuro/ortho and medically complex patients in an outpatient setting within a Level II Trauma acute care hospital.
• Use Epic EMR for charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with hospital clinical team to coordinate patient care.
• Work a day shift schedule (4x10s or 5x8s) with no weekend requirements beyond some Saturdays.
