Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks a Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant to deliver occupational therapy services across California under supervision of a licensed OT. Flexible contracts minimum 13 weeks with travel stipends.

In this role you will help patients develop daily living and work skills, support varied treatment plans, and educate families while documenting progress. Travel and adaptability are essential for success in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license.
• New grads accepted.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs.
• Positive, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and explore various locations across California.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and work activities.
• Support treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance daily function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
