Zusammenfassung

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The OT will work 40 hours per week with day shifts, performing evaluations, treatment planning, and patient education.

Candidates should have 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates) and hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing. The role involves working with patients in various settings and documenting progress.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification required; NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing required.
• Occupational Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Aufgaben

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs; develop and adjust treatment plan.
• Assist patients with activities and assess home/workplace for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on accommodation and care needs; instruct on equipment use.
• Document patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians.
