Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Morganton, NC. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and work in acute care settings across disabled, ill, or injured populations.

Start date is 10/19/2026, with a 40-hour week and day shifts. Must have 1 year of OT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds) and hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing.

Qualifications

• OT license and state-specific requirements must be met.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of OT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Assess home or workplace for environmental modifications.
• Educate family and employer on patient care strategies.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on its use.
• Document patient progress and prepare reports for physicians.
