Work in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, or outpatient clinics, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on patient recovery to support meaningful functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques to improve patients' abilities to perform daily tasks.
• Adapt environments and modify tasks to remove barriers for patients.
• Teach patients and caregivers strategies for improving functionality and independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
