Job summary

StaffDNA® in the United States seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team, developing and implementing customized programs to improve daily living and vocational skills. You will help individuals regain independence by assessing needs and creating patient-centered plans. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in rehab centers, hospitals, or outpatient clinics, with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• OTs must be licensed to practice in New Mexico or be eligible for licensure.
• Experience in rehab or outpatient settings is preferred.
• Ability to translate patient goals into practical, measurable treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques to improve daily living tasks.
• Adapt environments and modify tasks to remove barriers for patients.
• Teach patients and caregivers strategies for improving functionality and independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
