Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Springfield, MO. The OT will work 40 hours per week with night shifts, evaluating patients and developing plans of care in the acute care setting.

Must have NBCOT-OTR and BLS, plus state licensing; new grads are encouraged to apply and 6 months experience may be accepted for exceptional candidates. Travel benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months OT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR with state license required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.
• Assess homes/workplaces for adaptations and improvements.
• Educate families and employers on care needs.
• Document progress and adhere to guidelines.
