Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position in the Everett area. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recent related experience and proficiency with HCHB; an active OT license and OASIS experience are required.

This day shift role covers a 60-mile territory from the office hub, with a typical caseload of 5–7 patients daily. Mileage is reimbursed; BLS is required, NBCOT preferred.

Qualifications

• OT license in-hand at submission.
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience.
• OASIS experience required for SOC.
• Proficiency in HCHB charting system.
• BLS certification required; NBCOT preferred.
• Active driver's license and own transportation.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Home Health setting serving a geriatric patient population.
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day.
• No on-call requirement, though rotation may be discussed.
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub.
• EMR system used is HCHB (Homecare Homebase).
• Timely documentation and communication with the care team.
• Dress code includes scrubs; jeans are not permitted.
• Cell phone not provided; iPad provided for work use.
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.
• Orientation includes billable training modules completed on Mondays.
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate.
• Travel pairs accepted, each traveler has own territory and transportation.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at application.
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler.
