Job summary

Healthforce seeks an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Seattle, WA. The position runs 14 weeks starting 12/07/2026, with a guaranteed 35 hours per week in a skilled nursing facility.

The role involves geriatric OT care, collaboration with nursing and therapy teams, and discharge planning as needed. Weekly pay ranges from $2,291 to $2,408, with housing support potentially available for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted OT license in Washington or eligibility.
• Graduate from an accredited OT program.
• Experience in geriatric rehab or SNF preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ OT needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Plan and implement therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, cognitive function, motor skills, and safety.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes clearly.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize resident outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on home programs, safety strategies, and care transitions; participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements for OT services.
