Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health position serving a predominantly geriatric population in the Modesto area.

Open to new grads and candidates without home health experience, this role offers day shifts (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with flexibility and training provided. Local candidates are welcomed at the same pay rate, and comprehensive benefits including insurance, 401(k), and travel/licensure support are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• 1 year of OT experience preferred, though new grads are welcome
• Home health experience not required

Responsibilities

• Home health setting with a primarily geriatric patient population
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Some flexibility required for occasional schedule changes
• Daily point expectations of 7-8 points
• Charting system is Perfect Notefield, with training provided
• Supportive management team willing to train and provide ongoing support
• Phone interview required as part of the hiring process
• Flexible holiday RTO available
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
