Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Clinton, IL. The OT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients needing daily living skills in the acute care setting. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, goal setting, and documentation

Requirements include 6 months of experience, BLS, NBCOT-OTR licensure, and ability to stand/walk for long periods. Travel benefits include weekly pay and supported CEU options.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients in performing tasks and adapting home/work environments.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and accommodations.
• Document progress and outcomes per guidelines.
