Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. The OT will evaluate, treat, and plan care to improve patients’ daily living skills in an acute care setting. This 13-week travel role requires about 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, starting 11/23/2026.

New grads may apply with 6 months of experience and proper licensure. Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR, state license, and ability to stand/walk long periods while learning anatomy and

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Assess patients' conditions and needs and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on care strategies and equipment.
• Document patient progress per state and payer guidelines.
• Provide timely documentation for billing and physicians.
