Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and implement therapy to improve daily living activities in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 6 months of OT experience (new grads considered), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensure. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and shifts of 7 hours daily, totaling 35 hours per week for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state license.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend/stoop as needed.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care to achieve daily living goals.
• Assess patient home or workplace and identify potential improvements.
• Educate family and employers on patient care and accommodations.
• Provide timely documentation in accordance with state and insurance guidelines.
