Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Billings, MT. OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and help patients regain daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Candidates should have 1 year of experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; bend, lean or stoop.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Educate patient’s family and employer on accommodations and care.
• Assess and document patient progress for evaluations and reporting.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
