Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Glendive, Montana. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and work in an acute care setting to improve daily living skills.

Requirements include 1 year of OT experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and state licensing. The role involves 40 hours/week with 8-hour day shifts for a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care to improve daily living skills.
• Assess and treat patients in acute care settings based on their needs.
• Review medical history, observe tasks, and determine appropriate goals and activities.
• Educate family and employer on care needs and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct patients on its use.
• Document progress and care in accordance with state and payer guidelines.
