Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Puyallup, Washington. The OT will work 35 hours per week, 8-hour daytime shifts, in a travel capacity across facilities.

The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification, and active state licensing. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is expected. This travel position offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• OT with 1 year experience; exceptional candidates may have 6 months.
• Must have NBCOT-OTR certification and state licensing.
• BLS certification required; ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Travel position; duration 13 weeks; 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and observe patients performing tasks.
• Evaluate condition and needs; develop treatment plans with goals.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Document progress per state and insurance guidelines.
