Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sheridan, Wyoming. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and implement interventions to improve daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) with BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification and state licensing. Position requires standing/walking for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical

Qualifications

• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing are required.
• 1 year of OT experience; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients in performing tasks and improving daily living skills.
• Assess home/work environment for safety and accessibility.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Instruct on use of equipment and devices.
• Document patient progress for evaluations and billing.
• Provide timely documentation per guidelines.
