Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and work in acute care settings to improve daily living skills.

The role supports 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 13-week duration, with travel considerations. Requirements include 6 months of OT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification.
• NBCOT-OTR national certification with state license.
• 1 year of OT experience; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and assess needs.
• Develop a treatment plan and goals to improve daily living skills.
• Evaluate home or workplace and identify improvements.
• Educate family and employer on patient care and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct patients on usage.
• Document activities and progress for evaluations and billing.
